They are currently asking for your input and participation in a community assessment survey regarding the City's employment strategies being culturally sensitive to all our demographics here in the City of Cranston. ![]() The City of Cranston Diversity Commission has been meeting for several months to ensure that the City is effectively reaching out to its citizens regarding employment opportunities for all. We encourage you to visit these establishments and welcome them to Cranston! We look forward to this traditional celebration of light for the Hanukkah season and Rabbi Laufer's visit to City Hall each year. Mayor Fung and First Lady Barbara Ann Fenton-Fung, along with members of the City Council, joined Rabbi Laufer and his family at the annual lighting of the Menorah. Much is happening in Cranston with new restaurants and businesses recently opening in Garden City and Chapel View, the forward movement to develop the Topgolf entertainment complex, the new turf football field at Cranston West, new tennis courts and renovation of the basketball courts at Doric Park and much more. We are proud of the work that has been done and to be the best city to live in Rhode Island! As we begin this new year and decade, my administration is focused on continuing to provide the best services, education and facilities here in Cranston.
